A costume I created as part of my second year of Costume with Textiles degree course.
A transforming dress loosely based on 17th century clothing, this is it after the transformation takes place. The costume itself is for the character of Marenka, from The Bartered Bride, a tempestuous character whose character arc I've tried to represent very literally through her dress; dark and stormy at the beginning, and softer and more benign by the end.
